This darling antique brooch is a lovely example of Art Nouveau craftsmanship. The central cabochon opal is the star of the show and is just mesmerising. Surrounding the opal is a simplistic and elegant Nouveau style design entirely made by hand and fixed with its original c-clasp. The opal measures 0.85mm by 0.60mm and is set within a rub-over setting with delicate millgrain detailing. The entire piece is 50mm by 10mm and has been crafted in a yellow metal tested as 9ct gold.
