Exquisite and Divine Art Deco 1.40 Carat Diamond Solitaire Ring
Incredible craftsmanship and exceptional details! This wonderful treasure from the Art Deco period, circa 1930, is made entirely in a white metal tested as platinum. From the side, you can see the intricate and fine metal work allowing the light to flood underneath the diamonds. The shoulders create a wonderful curved graduation from centre stone to band. Each shoulder is comprised of three sections and bead set with little twinkly hand-cut stones. The centre diamond is an Old European Cut stone, this would have been cut earlier than the ring itself was made in approximately the 1890s. It weighs 1.40 carats and is held firmly within a secure eight-claw setting.
